is it possible to reverse the ageing process

Is it possible to reverse the ageing process?

For many of us, ageing is something that we really don’t want to face. But it’s largely due to the fact that getting older is associated with numerous negative aspects. Wrinkles, fatigue, memory troubles, sagging skin, aches and pains. It’s how most of us imagine getting older.

But it really doesn’t have to be that way.

While there’s no way to bring time to a standstill, there is something we can do about the ageing process. And it’s all to do with healthy ageing.

What is healthy ageing?

The concept of healthy ageing is really quite simple. It’s ageing, or getting older, in a healthy way. However, the science behind it is pretty intricate and really quite interesting. Because we need to look at ageing on a cellular level.

Cellular ageing

As we get older, our cells gradually lose many of their functions which eventually results in cell death. Basically, everything we associate with getting older is due to cellular ageing and cells being unable to perform their specific functions until they die. So those wrinkles, that chronic fatigue, that loose skin, those memory problems and those annoying aches and pains are all down to cellular ageing and cell death.

It’s a naturally occurring process but many things can exacerbate and speed up the cellular ageing process. This includes things like smoking and drinking excessively, poor diet, exposure to toxins, chronic stress and long term exposure to ultraviolet rays.

However, it is possible to counteract these effects and slow down cellular ageing to help our bodies work towards a healthy ageing goal. And we can do it through NAD+.

NAD+ and anti-ageing

NAD+ stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. It’s something that naturally exists in all our living cells and is associated with managing our energy levels, and helping with cell regeneration and anti-ageing. Unfortunately, as we age, our NAD+ levels decline and this can speed up cellular ageing and cellular death leading to the ageing process we’re all familiar with.

However, by increasing our NAD+ levels we can help our cells function normally for longer and slow down the effects of ageing. IV therapy is one of the most effective ways to increase the body’s NAD+ levels and with regular treatments you’ll see a whole range of benefits including:

  • Increased energy levels
  • Boosted immune system
  • Better sleep patterns
  • Firmer, brighter and younger looking skin
  • Mental sharpness
  • Better concentration and memory
